Care Instructions for Your BRAUS Fight Gear

At BRAUS Fight, we proudly produce the highest-quality Gi's, ensuring our customers receive   the best. To maintain the durability and longevity of your gear, follow these important tips:

  • Always hang dry your Gi after every use.
  • Never leave a wet or sweaty Gi balled up in your bag or car.
  • Turn your Gi inside out before washing.
  • Avoid using bleach or detergents containing bleach.
  • Do not wash in hot water or dry on heat settings.
  • Avoid washing your gear with items that have buttons, zippers, or Velcro.
  • Wash your Gi before it starts to smell.

GI Tops, Pants, and Bags

1 — Wash in Cold Water:

  • Line or hang dry to maximize your Gi’s lifespan and minimize shrinkage.
  • If using a dryer, select no heat or the lowest heat setting (under 30°C). High heat   weakens fibers, damages the collar, and causes shrinkage.
    • IMPORTANT: Washing or drying above 35°C can destroy the collar.

2 — Avoid Bleach:

  • Bleach can damage your Gi. For stains, rinse under cold water immediately and   scrub the affected area.
  • Use fabric softeners sparingly, ensuring they are bleach-free.

3 — Do Not Dry Under Direct Sunlight:

  • Sunlight dries out fibers and reduces durability. Instead, dry in a cool, shaded   place or use cold machine air.

4 — Special Care for Colored Products (Blue and Black):

  • First Wash: Soak your Gi in a cold water and white vinegar mix (2–3 cups of   vinegar) for 20–30 minutes to set the color before starting the washing cycle.
  • Subsequent Washes: Use cold water and color-safe detergent, following the   above drying instructions.
  • Note: Colored Gis will fade over time, a natural sign of your hard training.

Fight Shorts and Rash Guards

1 — Wash in Cold Water:

  • Turn items inside out to protect silk-screened logos and designs.

2 — Avoid the Dryer:

  • Always hang dry, as the dryer will damage these products.

3 — Avoid Washing with Rough Items:

  • Do not wash with items that have buttons, zippers, or Velcro to prevent damage   to your gear.

By following these care instructions, you’ll ensure your BRAUS Fight gear remains in excellent   condition, supporting your training journey for years to come.
